Hyères - The Winners 2011
The winners of Hyères International Festival of Fashion and Photography
in the south of France have been announced. Two competitions-one for designers and one for photographers-were staged. The French designer Léa Peckre took away the Grand Prize while the Swiss Emilie Meldem was awarded a special mention of the jury. Another French designer Céline Méteil recieved the Première Vision Prize as well as the Grand Prize of the Public. In the photography field, Anouk Kruithof followed by Katarina Elven were awarded. ITS - International Talent Support
announced the names of the finalists of the four areas of ITS tenth edition, today. New this year the ITS#JEWELRY Award created together with main partner Swarovski Elements. The Jewelry Award includes a cash prize amounting to €10,000 and a 6-month internship at the Swarovski HQ in Wattens (Austria).

Ten years after its spectacular VIDEO exhibition, at which Malcolm McLaren gave the opening address, the NRW-Forum Düsseldorf is dedicating a virtual exhibition to the post-MTV generation. This exhibition will only be available on the Internet at www.nrw-forum.de
A system of connections and links will guide the user to ever more new videos on the Internet, culminating in a call to continue the exhibition to infinity.
Help for Japan

Richter | Switala
has been crowned this years proud winner of the Ringstassen-Galerien Award. The Berlin-based designer duo Camilla Richter and Katrin Switala presented an outfit which consisted of a silk jersey catsuit and a silk organza trench coat. Other highlights of the evening were a show from designer Emil Gampe, and the beats by Merio Mel & The Lovemores. Congratulations to the winner and good luck to all next year!

Fashion graduates of Herbststrasse College will present their final collections in a unique fashion show
during which 24 men’s and women’s collections will be shown. The young designers will be honored by an official after-party celebration hosted by peng! Magazine. It’s a fashion event one of a kind!
